Kentish Stour Sunday 15th October 2017

I am organising a trip on the River Stour in Kent from Grove Ferry to Fordwich and return on Sunday 15th October.

Meet at boathouse at 8.30
Load boats and equipment.
Leave by 9.00.
Arrive Grove Ferry Car Park (CT3 4BP) (61 miles) 10.15.
There is a £2 parking charge, toilets and changing rooms.
Launch by 10.30
Paddle 5 miles to Fordwich where HW is at 12:56.
Have packed lunch whilst tide turns.
Leave 13:30
Return to Grove Ferry 15:30
Leave 16:00
Return to boathouse by 17:30

Please note, all club equipment must be disinfected, washed and put in storage on Saturday before it can be used on Sunday.
There will be no time to do this on Sunday morning.

I shall be at the boathouse next Saturday to answer any questions you may have.

The good turn-out from members (10 +) and 4 friends from Bewl Water CC was rewarded with near perfect weather.





Arrived at Fordwich with some having a packed lunch on the river bank...



..and other retiring to The George and Dragon.
