Change in posting Trips and Events.

As you may know I have been given the job of coordinating trips and events with the main task of publicising them through the website,at the lake and pool ,text, Facebook and ...word of mouth.
Last year the equipment officer changed the way we book equipment on the website by having a thread for each month.
This has proved to be practical to all involved, so as from January 2013 I would like to do the same for Trips and Events.
There will be a thread for each month so if you are organising a trip or event post details for the appropriate month.
There will be no limit for how far ahead you can start a thread; for example as soon as dates are confirmed for The London International in August details will be posted.
This will help members organise equipment, book time off work, find excuses for her at home etc.
After three months this scheme will be reviewed.

My other idea is a Trip and Event Wish List.
There is always talk about doing various activities, many we do but many get know where.
So if you have any ideas for a trip or event please post your ideas, reason why or why not such a trip is viable.

Its great someone is taking on this role,over the years i have made numerous efforts to run : day trips,weekend trips,short notice trips,trips abroad trips off to weirs trips etc, but i either get little or no interest.

Maybe i should work on my people skills ;)
