Beginners Medway Trip 13th May 2018

Quite a large group of 18 paddlers both beginners and members led by Hannah.
Launching....
..and setting off from Yalding.
One of the locals who has seen it all before.
Hannah held a few technique workshops on the way.
Draw stroke and sculling workshop at Old Lock.
Lunch at Sluice Weir.
A boat used the lock so it was a good opportunity for younger members to understand how a lock works.
Hannah starts the return with splash.

Setting off for the return to Yalding.
With a fast current with us, the return was quicker.
As we approached Yalding, some of the younger paddlers became tired, very tired...
