If you'd like to do a flatwater paddle on Sunday 8th August from Newenden to Bodiam meeting at 13:00 let me know on pfjfrf@aol.com. It's about 4 miles ending at Bodiam Castle where there are tea rooms and a pub. The enthusiastic can paddle back. Suitable for opens and kayaks. The Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway runs between Newenden and Bodiam.

For info Newenden is on the Kent - Sussex border about 7 miles NW of Rye and 15 or so N of Hastings.

I do not have a car but would like to go on this trip if I can borrow a club boat.
