Meridian Canoe Club

All are welcome to join us on the river trip to the Medway this Sunday (Aug 1st)

We are planning to leave the boathouse at 10.30 and be on the water at Yalding at 11.30.

We plan to paddle up to Sluice Gate Weir , have a run down the canoe chute , a paddle back. Bring a packed lunch , and something to eat at the end if you wish.

I would welcome help from other members, coaches , and anyone who can help transport boats, as we need to get 10 baots down to Yalding and to date I calculate I can only manage 5 maximum with the current resources.

Many thanks to the club coaches who helped us on the concluding river trip of one of the most successful beginners courses that I have run for a while.
There was particular help from Tony and Barry in transporting boats, Dave, Paul, and June who turned out on the river and helped with coaching.
Also those who helped at the pool and lake eapecialy Tim,and David.
It was a good rip which all the newbies enjoyed immensely, especially the chute at Sluice Gate weir.
