I am organising this trip to Yalding mainly for beginners but everyone is welcome. We will start at the weir at yalding and spend a couple of hours playing on the little stopper and hopefully if we have enough water we can do some Ferry Gliding and Breaking in and out under the arches. Probably finish off with a leisurely paddle around the island. Maybe some seal launching at the end if people want to be a bit brave and dont mind getting wet.

We will meet at Crook Log Public House at 9.15am for breakfast. Leaving there by 10.15am to arrive at Yalding by 11am.

Feel free to skip breakfast and go direct to Yalding for 11am.

All boats and transport will be sorted out on Saturday 3rd December at the lake.

Feel free to contact me directly on 07902 429 847

I may be able to come along and help , but the likelyhood is that I will not have transport.
We might need a few rain dances to get some flow in the weir pool at Yalding. If we want to practice any moving water then Sluice Gate may be our only option.

Thanks Andy for the offer of help, it is appreciated.

I will make the decision Saturday 3rd as to whether we end up at Sluice Weir or Yalding.

But rain or shine we will have plenty to play with and every chance of getting wet still!!

Thanks for organising the trip Tony, but was it wise to start the day with the Eat-As-Much-As-You-Can-Full-English-Breakfast at Crook Log?

A big Thank You to

Morgan
Fiona
Tim C
Tony B
Kathleen
Helen
Janet
Mark
Lauren
Emily
Steve
Kerry

for turning up for my Yalding trip.

The gates opened up twice whilst we were there giving us ample time to enjoy some moving water. Playing in the weir pool and through the arches proved testing for some and amusing for others.

We then had a quick paddle around the island before finishing off with some seal launching. The hero's/heroine's of the day proved to be Morgan and Fiona who showed their bravery in seal launching.

All in all a great day was had by all that attended.

Big thanks to John G and Tim H for all their help, much appreciated.

Once again Thank You all. :D
