For those of 2 Star standard and above there is an opportunity to earn £100 for water safety cover work at the Gt East Swim this Saturday (but with bad weather forecast it may be postponed to Sunday).

It does mean a VERY (04.00 from SE) early start but I will be driving and can offer lifts for up to 3 paddlers and boats. It is also a long day on the water from 08.00 to 17.00, but you do get a free lunch and some time off during the day.

Due to predicted high winds on Saturday , this event has been postponed to Sunday, if this makes any difference to anyone thinking about coming along.
They are still looking for volunteers.
