Hi There

Myself and my son (Louie) would love to come. We have only recently joined the club. We did the beginners course in May but missed quite a lot of it including the river trip. 2 questions though - Louie is only 10 -is the trip suitable for him, and secondly, when you say meet at the boat house do you mean the one at Danson Park.
Thanks
Sharon

So we have the following paddlers on Sunday

Phil and Emily
Tim S
Tim H
Kathrine
Sharon and Louie (I can sign you off on your 1 Star assuming all goes well on the day)
Sam

As per another posting here , WAM are holding a taster day at Yalding on Sunday with demo boats and a barbecue , and we are all invited, so you might want to factor in some more time at the end of the day.

Thanks for organising this trip Andy.
I'll get my roof rack on, but I don't have any straps. Does anyone have any spare straps that I can borrow?

Thanks,
Phil

Brian,
You are both very welcome. Are you aware that there is a boat demo day by WAM at Yalding , and a barbecue (assuming reasonable weather?) so there should be plenty going on. Will you be going directly to Yalding , or calling in at the Boathouse first ?

Thanks to all who paddled on today's trip.

We were sorry that Sharon and Louie could not make it , but with Nigel and Alex unexpectedly joining us , we had just a nice sized group, and plenty of fun in the good conditions.

Congratulations to Phil and Emily on getting their 1 Star completed.

Andy

PS Phil you left a jacket in my car, I will bring it along to the pool session on Wednesday.

Thanks for organising today Andy.
I think we all had a good time and I hope Phil and Emily's first experience of moving water was a positive one.

Good to see the Duo in action...

By the way, did Brian ever find that 5p he dropped?

Thanks also to WAM for the demo day.
Didn't get the chance to try the coracle and just what was that mini open used for (I was told a fridge to keep the beer in...)?

Thanks for organising the trip Andy and for the lift there and back.
We enjoyed the moving water! It took me a while to get what I was meant to be doing, but it was great when I did.
Good photos Tim!

Phil

P.S. We won't be at the lake again until the end of September :(
