If you need a boat this Saturday please make sure you book it out with Ada , who tells me that only Fizz has reserved one to date. This is a busy weekend with at least 2 other events so please don't asume that your choice will be available.
The good news is that Tim and Bob will be able to paddle the open as we have 2 other opens coming who will be able to act a safety cover. Please book it out.
It will be an early start at Danson if you are picking up boats on Sunday, so it might be better to do it on Saturday.
Can someone offer me a lift back from Westminster please as I won't have a car capable of carrying boats until mine is repaired.

Will Bob be around on sat morning? we were yet to decide if we were going solo (i think his solo boat had some damage?) or doubling up, better for any rescues i suppose.

Well for those who chose not to come you missed a wonderful day on the river. It was so hot that we were all down to T shirt type thermals only by the end.
The weather was of course glorious, the water was calm and we had a great time.
We got overtaken by a police boat on an emergency call to deal with someone who had fallen off the parapet onto the rocks below, but he slowed down so as not to swamp us with his wake.
A select group of paddlers including Alex , Paul French, 2 Tims, Fizz, Tom, Jack, Barry in an open , and of course our very own man with a van , Tony , who as ever did sterling service on the transport side.
However the trip was run in hope of attracting the newer paddlers to give them river experience, and we were distinctly lacking in that category.
